About the Programme
The Jamaica UK Rugby Pathway Foundation is not a club. It is not a charity. It is a permanent, elite-performance ecosystem built to develop Jamaican rugby talent and open real progression opportunities.
The Opportunity
Jamaica has a significant and largely untapped rugby talent pool. Thousands of athletes with Jamaican heritage are playing rugby across the UK — in schools, clubs, and academies — with no structured pathway connecting them to the national programme.
On the island, the raw athleticism and competitive spirit is undeniable. But without the infrastructure, coaching quality, and international exposure, that potential remains unrealised.
The Jamaica UK Rugby Pathway Foundation exists to close that gap — permanently.

What We Build
Structured, periodised programmes delivered by qualified coaches with professional experience. Every session has a purpose.
A systematic approach to finding and developing UK-based Jamaican talent that would otherwise go unidentified.
A dedicated, fully-resourced girls' programme with equal standards, equal investment, and equal ambition.
Tours, fixtures, and partnerships that give players experience of elite international environments.
Developing the whole person — academic support, career guidance, and mentorship from elite athletes and professionals.
Building the operational backbone — facilities, technology, data systems, and governance — to sustain the programme long-term.
The Plan
Evidence Base
For young people of colour, participating in sport within a culturally safe environment alongside peers of shared heritage is not just a preference — it is a powerful catalyst for wellbeing, retention, and high performance. Read the evidence behind why this programme matters.
